WOKE wear is a new venture that was the brainchild of my partner and me. After attending a big protest rally in 2017 and most recently in June of 2025, I was witness to the powerful energy that grows when voices are heard, from all walks of life and every community. The variety of humans I was standing side-by-side with at these events was awe-inspiring.
My Story
I made a professional career out of listening to the consumer, understanding their needs, and delivering on those needs. I've worked for major corporations as well as start-ups. The end product is still the same: happy customers.
I am semi-retired now and have had the opportunity to look at the next stage of my life. What do I want to do? After much thought, I decided to harness that powerful energy I experienced in 2017 and use it for good change. I sought innovative ways to help spread the message of equality and justice. How could I harness what I learned over 35 years in Service and how I feel about today's political climate?
WOKE wear was born.
Our mission is to provide clothing with a message. I want to encourage everyone to stand up and speak out. Do not be silent. Be unapologetically you. In our current political climate, the word "WOKE" is being used as a scare tactic. I believe that those who push against it are just afraid to learn more, understand more, and accept a different point of view. So I want to promote the idea that "WOKE" is not a bad thing after all.
